Porcelain pin type insulator, also called distribution ceramic pin insulator, consists of a single piece of ceramic or maybe two pieces of ceramic components permanently assembled together by cement. Porcelain pin type insulator is mounted rigidly on a supporting structure by an insulator pin or insulator spindle. Unless otherwise stated, this term does not include the insulator pin. Usage: Rigid insulator, suitable for distribution lines to insulate and support conductor. The top can have semi-conductor/radio silent glaze or without semi-conductor/radio silent glaze. The applicable voltage is less than 46kV, and strength is generally less than 13kN.
Colour: Brown, Light gray or to drawings
Applicable Standard: ANSI, IEC, BS
Connected fitting type:The pin insulator have zinc thimble thread normally assemble with steel head spindle while have porcelain thread normally assemble with lead head spindle.
